The Old Farm Homeowners Association
The Old Farm Homeowners Association (Old Farm HOA) is a small community of 355 homes, consisting of single family, townhouses, and condominiums. In addition to the Old Farm HOA, two condominiums, Old Farm and Avondale, are represented by seperate HOA's. Old Farm is convenienty located on Rosemont Avenue, across from Fort Detrick.

Want to know whats happening in Frederick now? The Frederick Scanner is a live audio stream of Frederick Police, Fire, EMS & Highway operations. The site is complete with live video from several highway cameras & frequently updated still pictures from around Frederick. It also posts Frederick specific traffic updates on Twitter & Facebook. The Frederick Scanner is a non-profit volunteer run site for the County of Frederick, MD.
Selling Your Property?
When you sell your property within a Homeowners Association you are required by Law, to provide a potential buyer with the Official Documents (Bylaws, Covenant, Budget, Rules & Regulations) of that Community. Failure to do so could cause your sale not to go through. If you own a Condominium, you are required to provide a buyer with not only the Official Documents for the Condominiums but ALSO the documents for the HOA. There are two property management companies that should be contacted to obtain those documents. For the Old Farm Homeowners Association you should contact Sunshine Management Corporation at 301-663-8383. For the Condominiums contact Swank Property Management at 301-473-5166. There is a fee for the Re-sale Package; check with your Real Estate Agent before purchasing, some Agents will pay for them as part of their services.
Trash & Recycle Containers
Just a friendly reminder to all homeowners to PLEASE try to keep your trash & recycle containers in your garage or in the back yard within a 24 hours of the collection days. The Covenants require that they be stored out of sight.
New Covenant Committee
The Homeowners Association Board Members would like to welcome the Covenant Committee of Gary Kantner, Paula McGee and Gary Spitalsky. If anyone would like to join this committee please lets Sunshine Management.
Exterior Property Changes
All homeowners in our community that have any changes to the exterior of your home or property must be approved by the Covenants Committee prior to any work commencing.
